On the positive aspects of customers: Customer-initiated support and affective crossover in employee-customer dyads

This study examines psychological resources for service employees and their customers, which enhance the service experiences of both parties during service conversations. We investigate whether customer behaviour (customer-initiated support) positively impacts on employees' affect. We also examine the crossover of employees' affect on customers' affect. State positive affect (PA) was assessed in 82 employees of car dealerships and 421 customers on 2 occasions (before and after the conversation). La forma vegetative (Btv) è considerata quella responsabile della setticemia dell’ospite dopo che le tossine (Cry) rilasciate dal corpo parasporale del Bt in forma sporulata (Bts) hanno perforato il mesenteron del ospite. A memetic approach to discrete tomography from noisy projections

Discrete tomography deals with the reconstruction of images from very few projections, which is, in the general case, an NP-hard problem. This paper describes a new memetic reconstruction algorithm. It generates a set of initial images by network flows, related to two of the input projections, and lets them evolve towards a possible solution, by using crossover and mutation. Switch and compactness operators improve the quality of the reconstructed images during each generation, while the selection of the best images addresses the evolution to an optimal result.
