Comparing interactive evolutionary multiobjective optimization methods is controversial. The main difficulties come from features inherent to interactive solution processes involving real decision makers. Therefore, managers’ decisions about whether to make IT security investment (ITSI) and how much, depend upon a subjective assessment of the economic value of the investment and the likelihood of the damage to the organization. Tässä kvalitatiivisessa tutkimuksessa selvitettiin Jämsän seudun potentiaalisten liikennebiokaasun suurkäyttäjien arvoja hankintapäätöksenteon takana. Biokaasuun sekä arvoihin liittyvää teoriaa esitellään kattavasti tämän tutkimuksen näkökulma huomioiden. Tutkimukseen valittiin harkinnanvaraisesti 8 organisaatiota eri toimialoilta ajosuoritteen rajoittuneisuuteen sekä ajoneuvokannan laajuuteen perustuen. Tutkimusaineisto hankittiin teemahaastatteluin, joiden pohjalta aineistosta löydettiin arvoja ilmentäviä ilmauksia. Nämä tunnistetut arvot nimettiin ja jaettiin arvoluokkiin. This study uses a design science research methodology to develop and evaluate the Pi-Mind agent, an information technology artefact that acts as a responsible, resilient, ubiquitous cognitive clone – or a digital copy – and an autonomous representative of a human decision-maker. Pi-Mind agents can learn the decision-making capabilities of their “donors” in a specific training environment based on generative adversarial networks. This paper seeks to better understand the skills and competencies that Public Relations (PR) professionals use in contributing to organisational decision-making processes. The data were collected by interviewing Finnish professionals using thematic semi-structured interviews. Overall, the results highlight a deep understanding of organisation management and decision-making processes. The most important competencies were business understanding and target group oriented thinking. The frequently discussed gap between conservation science and practice is manifest in the gap between spatial conservation prioritization plans and their implementation. We analyzed the research-implementation gap of one zoning case by comparing results of a spatial prioritization analysis aimed at avoiding ecological impact of peat mining in a regional zoning process with the final zoning plan. Barriers to Data-Driven Decision-Making Among Online Retailers

This study investigates the barriers to data-driven decision-making among online retailers. The study seeks to deepen the previous knowledge by considering data-driven decision-making as a process and identifying the critical obstacles within its different (6) stages. Qualitative interview data (N=10) collected from Finnish e-commerce professionals are analyzed. The findings show that barriers to data-driven decision-making occur at all stages during the decision-making process.
