(1) Background: Tennis ball tracking technology allows the aquirement of novel and reliable data about several performance indicators, such as volley positions. This information is key to understand match dynamics in doubles tennis and to better help preparing players for the demands they will face in match play. ANTI – Contemporary Art Festival on kansainvälinen aika- ja paikkasidonnaisen nykytaiteen festivaali Kuopiossa. Festivaali syntyi vuonna 2002 aktivoimaan kaupunkitiloja taideteosten avulla. Alkuperäisestä 12 teospaikan rakenteesta festivaali on muuttunut sosiaalisempaan ja dialogisempaan suuntaan reflektoiden toisaalta taiteen sosiaalista käännettä ja toisaalta aktiivisen kulttuurisen osallistumisen käytäntöjä. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastelen taiteen sosiaalisuutta ja osallistumisen mahdollisuuksia ANTI-festivaalilla ja pohdin niiden merkityksiä yleisöille ja kaupungille. Tutkielma kartoittaa itsemurhan esiintyvyyttä modernissa ja jälkimodernissa taiteessa ja pyrkii luomaan typologian niistä erinäisistä rooleista, joissa itsemurhan representaatio tällä reilun sadan vuoden aikajanalla esiintyy. Itsemurhan näkyvyydestä taiteessa tehty aiempi tutkimus on vähäistä ja painottuu modernismia edeltäneeseen taiteeseen, joten tutkielma pyrkii muodostamaan kokonaiskuvaa niukasti tutkitusta aihepiiristä.
