Decoupled nonlinear adaptive control of position and stiffness for pneumatic soft robots

This article addresses the problem of simultaneous and robust closed-loop control of joint stiffness and position, for a class of antagonistically actuated pneumatic soft robots with rigid links and compliant joints. By introducing a first-order dynamic equation for the stiffness variable and using the additional control degree of freedom, embedded in the null space of the pneumatic actuator matrix, an innovative control approach is introduced comprising an adaptive compensator and a dynamic decoupler. Abstract Roll angular motion of the modern aircraft operating in non-linear flight modes with a high angle of attack often demonstrates the limit cycle oscillations, which is commonly known as the wing rock phenomenon. Reducing the observation error in a WSN through a consensus-based subspace projection

An essential process in a Wireless Sensor Network is the noise mitigation of the measured data, by exploiting their spatial correlation. A widely used technique to achieve this reduction is to project the measured data into a proper subspace. We present a low complexity and distributed algorithm to perform this projection.
