According to the theory of compensatory dynamics, depleted populations should recover when the threat responsible for their decline is removed because per capita population growth is assumed to be highest when populations are at their smallest viable sizes. Yet, many seriously depleted fish populations have failed to recover despite threat mitigation. This chapter focuses on intensified working life via the intensified job demands (IJDs) model from the perspective of recovery from work by paying particular attention to the potentially mediating and buffering roles of recovery in the linkages between IJDs and their consequences. International audience; The impact of continuous and pulsed ultrasound pre-treatments (15, 30 and 45 min) followed by conventional hydrodistillation on the characteristics of extracted essential oils (EOs) from dried leaves of Aloysia citriodora Palau was evaluated for the first time. Chemical composition of EOs, antibacterial and antioxidant activities, as well as the contents in heavy metals (iron, copper, lead, arsenic, and cadmium) were determined. The purpose of this study was to examine the acute hormonal and muscular responses to a strenuous strength loading [bilateral leg press (LP) 10x10 1RM] followed by loading-specific active (AR, n = 7, LP 10x10x30% 1RM) or passive (PR, n = 11, seated) recovery. The subjects were men age: 26±4 years, height: 174±8 cm, body mass: 75±13 kg. After control measurements, experimental measurements were conducted at pre and post loading as well as post recovery and next morning. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena on selvittää, miten dialogisuuteen pyrkivän aikuiskoulutuksen oppimisryhmissä käsitellään opiskelijoiden esittämiä moitteita, jotka kohdistuvat ohjaajan toimintaan tai hänen edustamaansa koulutukseen. Tutkimusaineisto koostuu Aikuiskouluttajan pedagogisten opintojen videoiduista oppimisryhmätilanteista (kaikkiaan 20 tuntia). Aineistossa opiskelijat aloittivat kahdeksan moitekeskustelua, jotka analysoitiin keskustelunanalyyttisesti.
