The arterial blood supply of the temporomandibular joint: an anatomical study and clinical implications

Purpose: The aim of this study was to analyze three-dimensional images of the arterial supply to the temporomandibular joint. Materials and Methods: Ten patients (five men and five women, mean age 36 years) without signs or symptoms of temporomandibular disorders, who underwent contrast-enhanced computed tomographic (CT) scanning with intravenous contrast, were studied. The direct volume rendering technique of CT images was used, and a data set of images to visualize the vasculature of the human temporomandibular joint in three dimensions was created. Artykuł podejmuje problematykę statusu administracyjnego muzealiów w hiszpańskim systemie prawnym. Przedstawiono założenia ustawy o hiszpańskim dziedzictwie historycznym z 1985 r., która reguluje status dóbr kultury BIC (bienes de interés cultural) – zarówno ruchomości, jak i nieruchomości – oraz poziomy ochrony w zależności od kategorii. Omówiono procedurę nadawania statusu BIC i systemy katalogowania dóbr kultury. System ochrony dóbr kultury w Hiszpanii jest mocno zdecentralizowany, co dotyczy również funkcjonowania muzeów. L'interpretazione del nome di una strada della Palermo normanna conferma uno scenario, già noto e di grande interesse, in cui musulmani ebrei e cristiani vivevano insieme a dispetto delle loro diverse culture e religioni. In quel periodo irripetibile della storia siciliana la comunità cristiana praticava peraltro la propria religione adottando vari riti. La presenza dei riti bizantino e gallicano nella Sicilia normanna era già nota. L'articolo mostra che ne va aggiunto un terzo, l'ispanico. Quest'ultimo era adottato dal gruppo di mozarabi arrivati dalla penisola iberica già durante la dominazione araba.

This article aims, departing from the legal text and considering existing jurisprudence, to unveil the true meaning of these principles.
