The excavation in the park of Villa Belmonte (Monte Pellegrino, Palermo) has brought to light several warehouses, made with a “pseudo-frame” technique, probably with a straw roof, used for the storage of foodstuffs, given the large quantity of Punic-type amphorae found in situ, datable to around the middle of the third century BC. In addition, a section of road - about 3 m wide that proceeds in the direction of WNW- ESE, consisting of two layers of use - has been intercepted. We believe to have tracked down part of a strategic/military station used by the Carthaginian army during the crucial years of the First Punic War.

Background. Sepsis is the major cause of mortality from any infectious disease worldwide. Sepsis may be the result of a healthcare associated infection (HAI): the most frequent adverse events during care delivery especially in Intensive Care Units (ICUs). The main aim of the present study was to describe the epidemiology of ICU-acquired sepsis and related outcomes among patients enrolled in the framework of the Italian Nosocomial Infections Surveillance in ICUs - SPIN-UTI project. This thesis is 1) an discourse analysis of the institution' texts (Algeria, in the eighties) + analysis of the young people in secondary school (part I) ; 2) a semiotic analysis of spaces in Algeria (country, village, secondary school). The results : we showed many contraints in a collective speech, through 2 dominant themas : time, action ; and 2 recessive themas : subject (speaker), mirror. So, education and didactic perspective are useful.

In questo lavoro sosterrò due tesi. La prima è che non sembra possibile ricostruire il contenuto (di molte) delle motivazioni giudiziali elaborate in molti Stati Costituzionali come una catena di argomenti logicamente corretta. Se, infatti, teniamo conto degli argomenti normalmente addotti nelle sentenze, dei cosiddetti livelli espliciti della motivazione giudiziale, spesso nella giustificazione esterna della premessa maggiore del sillogismo decisionale manca una premessa normativa di carattere generale (che possa, ovviamente, giustificare in modo corretto la premessa maggiore medesima, e “a fortiori” il dispositivo). Tutkimus käsittelee kielikuvien argumentatiivisuutta belgialaisen artistin Stromaen toisen studioalbumin Racine carrée sanoituksissa. Aineistoksi valittiin kyseinen albumi sillä perusteella, että se on saavuttanut suurta suosiota ympäri maailmaa myös maissa, joissa ranska ei ole virallinen kieli. Tarkoituksena on saada selville, kuinka Stro-mae käyttää sonoriteettien toistoa tuodakseen esille näkemyksensä asioista, joita hän käsittelee kappaleissaan. Tarkemmin tarkasteltavaksi valittiin viisi laulua, joissa esiintyy eniten äännetoistoa kielikuvana. Analyysiosiossa tutkittiin laadullisen analyysin avulla neljää erilaista sonoriteettien toistoa: riimiä, paronomasiaa, assonanssia ja allitteraa…
