The present paper aims to identify the causes of under-representation of women in E-sports. According to a genre perspective, interest in videogames at the amateur level is quite similar. However, in its professional level, female participation becomes very limited. The fact that physical effort is irrelevant (a requirement for ?traditional sports?) could be considered a variable that would negatively affect greater to equality in the conditions of access and participation of women in electronic sports. W prezentowanym tekście odnoszę się do szeregu moich badań związanych z migracją kobiet. Podejmując się analizy teoretycznej tych badań sięgam do teorii roli jako narzędzia do wyjaśnienia zjawisk. Modyfikuję ją poprzez dodanie innych, pozaludzkich (non-humans) partnerów roli, wobec których rola migrantki jest konstruowana i odgrywana. W efekcie tego przekształcenia teoretycznego ustalam, że istnieje większa liczba partnerów roli, co jest ruchem symetrycznym wobec tego, jaki wykonał Bruno Latour. 1. Breve descrizione dell’oggetto di studio Il concorso del Palazzo di Giustizia di Roma si svolge in quattro fasi svolte tra il 1884 e il 1887. Il progetto per il primo concorso, del 1884, redatto dall’allora giovanissimo Ernesto Basile (Palermo 1857-1932), rivela una grande perizia progettuale che trasforma il complesso programma funzionale in un austero edificio in stile neofiorentino. Tutkimuksemme tarkoituksena oli tarkastella, kuinka paljon parisuhdeväkivallasta puhutaan pariterapiassa, mitä ja kuinka osallistujat puhuvat siitä sekä kuinka osallistujien ihon sähkönjohtavuus liittyy väkivaltakeskusteluihin. Tutkimukseemme kuului neljä paria ja heidän terapeuttinsa, ja parit olivat hakeutuneet terapiaan parisuhdeväkivallan vuoksi. Tarkastellessamme teemoja ja keskustelukäytäntöjä käytimme temaattista analyysia ja diskurssianalyysia. We propose a rapid, one-pot method to generate photoluminescent (PL) mesoporous silicon nanoparticles (PSiNPs). Typically, mesoporous silicon (meso-PSi) films, obtained by electrochemical etching of monocrystalline silicon substrates, do not display strong PL because the silicon nanocrystals (nc-Si) in the skeleton are generally too large to display quantum confinement effects. Here we describe an improved approach to form photoluminescent PSiNPs from meso-PSi by partial oxidation in aqueous sodium borate (borax) solutions. Effect of thermal annealing on the luminescence of defective ZnO nanoparticles synthesized by pulsed laser ablation in water

This work concerns ZnO nanoparticles (NPs), with sizes of tens of nm, produced by ablation with a pulsed Nd:YAG laser of a Zn plate in H2O. TEM images evidence the formation of nanoparticles with sizes of tens of nm. Moreover, HRTEM images and Raman spectra show that the distance between the crystalline planes and the vibrational modes are consistent with ZnO nanocrystal in wurtzite structure. Their optical properties are characterized by two emission bands both excited above the energy gap (3.4 eV): the first at 3.3 eV is associated with excitons recombination, the second at 2.2 eV is proposed to originate from a singly ionized oxygen vacancy.
