Aproximación a un análisis del ámbito de la Gloria celestial. Aquí la Virgen aparece como reina e intercesora ante el Trono de Gracia, en donde, de acuerdo con la tradición iconográfica, se incluye a San Juan Bautista y los arma Christi portados por ángeles. A total of 383 Baltic amber samples, including 43 type specimens, held at the Museum of Comparative Zoology (MCZ), Harvard University, for near a century were found to belong to the classic amber collection from the Albertus-Universität of Königsberg. This discovery was greatly facilitated by the public availability online of digital images produced during a four-year project that digitised the over 30,000 samples from the MCZ’s fossil insect collection. E ciò sia in Serbia,, paese dalle "trasformazioni bloccate", che in Italia, dove l'emancipazione pubblica delle donne non coincide con la simmetria delle relazioni uomo-donna nella sfera privata.
Comparison of British and French expatriate doctors’ characteristics and motivations

Objective The aim of this study was to analyse the migration of doctors between the UK and France, in an attempt to identify the reasons for these migrations. Design This was a cross-sectional study conducted using a self-completed questionnaire. Setting The questionnaire was sent to all British doctors practising in France and to all French doctors practising in the UK. Participants The doctors were identified, thanks to official data of the National Medical Councils. There were 244 French doctors practising in the UK and 86 British doctors practising in France. Schemata, Acculturation, and Cognition : Expatriates in Japan's Software Industry

This multiple case based empirical study expands the knowledge around North American software and IT workers in Japan as well as the expatriate literature and discussion of cognitive schemata in cross cultural settings. The study includes eleven individuals, nine of them in software. Evidence of selection, rejection, and adjustment of cognitive schemata found in Japan's business world is presented. Changes in schemata drive cultural adjustment and acculturation. North American software and IT workers in Japan must maneuver through unfamiliar and often complex schemata to motivate, lead, manipulate, and communicate with coworkers and partners and thereby gain success. peerReviewed
Acculturation of foreign IT workers in Japan from a cognitive and business management viewpoint

This dissertation investigates expatriate IT workers located in Japan in the contexts of their acculturation and thinking about workplace and business negotiations. Case studies of individual actors supported by surveys were chosen as the methods to gather data leading to findings about how expatriates develop in Japan, including their ability to adjust, accept, and reject schemata about business management situations. Individuals were chosen as a unit of study because they are the key figures who decide the economic fate of companies. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on tarkastella suomalaista koulutusvientiä toteuttavia koulutusvientiasiantuntijoita, heidän työtään ja kykyään toimia vieraassa kulttuurikontekstissa. Koulutusta ei voida sellaisenaan tuotteistaa ja viedä maasta toiseen, minkä seurauksena koulutusvientiä toteutetaan monin eri tavoin. Tässä tutkimuksessa koulutusvientiä tarkastellaan osaamisen vientinä, jolla tarkoitetaan koulutuksen asiantuntijuuden vientiä eli suomalaisten koulutusasiantuntijoiden lähettämistä ulkomaille.
