Wykorzystanie nowych mediów w wychowaniu patriotycznym dzieci i młodzieży

Contemporary patriotic education should make use of new forms such as the new media, taking into account their popularity and availability in everyday life of children and teenagers. In my paper I presented few specific examples of possible usage of such media texts in patriotic education, with the biggest emphasis on videogames and tabletop games such as boardgames, cardgames ang wargames as well as Internet platforms for content exchange such as YouTube and Twitch. I tried to explain the importance of new media in patriotic education and how they can be used by parents, teachers and educators to explain the history of Poland and deepen national identity.

Historia, problemy i wyzwania. Historia Polski od przyjęcia chrztu w 966 r. pokazuje, jak pewne wydarzenia społeczne łączono z celebracjami liturgii. Liturgiczna modlitwa Kościoła powinna obejmować wszystkie przestrzenie życia człowieka wierzącego. The objective of the article is an axiological analysis of the Silesian geographical names and the justification of its usefulness in school didactics. Educating pupils by means of proper names integrates linguistic, cultural, historical and political contents. Discussions on names and their justification teach tolerance and patriotism, highlight fundamental values such as family, work, homeland and religion, and emphasize traditions and attachment to one’s “little homeland”. Artykuł wprowadza w zagadnienie wykorzystania obrazów o tematyce historyczno-patriotycznej na katechezie młodzieży. Edukacja religijna łączy się tutaj wyraźnie z wychowaniem estetycznym i patriotycznym. Współczesna młodzież, tak mocno związana z cywilizacją obrazu, potrzebuje odniesień do narodowych tradycji. W artykule na zasadzie przykładu wskazano sposób wykorzystania czterech malarskich arcydzieł ważnych polskich twórców: Jana Matejki, Stanisława Wyspiańskego oraz Jacka Malczewskiego. Obrazy mogą być ważną i inspirującą pomocą w podejmowaniu na katechezie tematów związanych z odkrywaniem i tworzeniem własnej tożsamości, zwłaszcza odniesień do Ojczyzny, do jej historii i wartości.

Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan nationalismin roolia Chilen presidenttien linjapuheissa vuosina 1990–2005. Tarkoituksena on selvittää, miten Concertación-puolueliittouman presidentit hyödynsivät nationalismia retoriikkansa resurssina pyrkiessään legitimoimaan politiikkaohjelmiaan transitioajan Chilessä. Työssä kiinnitetään huomiota myös presidenttien argumentaatiotekniikoihin sekä menneisyyspolitiikkaan, jonka avulla maan synkkä lähihistoria pyrittiin sitomaan kansakuntanarraatioon.
