Lanthanides are part of rare earth elements. Nowadays studies focused on these elements are increasing to assess the possibility to their use in the traceability to effectively determining the geographical wine origin. The aim of this paper is to analyze private automobilism in capitalist system from the Marxist perspective. Author starts with Paul Yirilio thought on speed and politics, issues of the mobility and social and political control. Then article is focused on Erich Fromm’s, thinker from the Frankfurt School, criticism o f private owned cars. Next part is devoted to the social and cultural significance o f the car-first transportation in the United States. Paper ends with alternative point of view on the automobilism, delivered by punk rock artist, known as Jello Biafra. In conclusion, there is an attempt to outline socialist option on motorization.

Spin-lattice relaxation of deuterated methyl groups: Implications of the pauli principle

The high-field spin-lattice relaxation of deuterated methyl groups undergoing rotational tunneling is investigated theoretically. It is found that for systems showing a tunneling frequency comparable to accessible Larmor frequencies the relaxation to equilibrium of the Zeeman energy does not follow a simple exponential time dependence even in powdered samples due to a finite coupling to the relaxation of the tunneling system. This finding contrasts to the high-temperature behavior of reorienting methyl groups which undergo simple exponential relaxation. The nonexponentiality has its origin in the statistical coupling of the three deuteron spins due to the Pauli principle.

Artykuł analizuje znaczenie słowa geniusz w wyrażeniu geniusz kobiecy/kobiety, które wprowadził papież Jan Paweł II do dyskursu Kościoła katolickiego na temat płci. Badania pokazują, że to nowe użycie słowa geniusz bazuje na jego już istniejących znaczeniach, ale nie jest z nimi tożsame. Znaczenie rozumiane jest szeroko – jako zespół sądów o różnym statusie, mający charakter podmiotowy (związany z czyjąś koncepcją) i dyskursowy (włączony w „porządek” danego dyskursu, w tym wypadku – dyskursu katolickiego). W warstwie opisowej geniusz (kobiety/kobiecy) oznacza esencjalistycznie i komplementarnie pojętą istotę płci, ale bardzo ważne jest także wysoce pozytywne nacechowanie słowa, które konotu…
