To ward off such risks, organizations have often adopted prevention plans. Una statua recentemente ricomposta nell'Antiquarium di Solunto, ad un esame dettagliato, risulta essere un assemblaggio di parti pertinenti in origine ad almeno due statue improntate al cd. tipo della Kore di Prassitele, una delle quali pare avere inoltre subito la sostituzione del ritratto originario con una nuova effigie femminile. Lo studio iconografico-stilistico consente di riconoscere nel ritratto attualmente preservato, in piccola parte, sulla fronte Agrippina Maggiore e nel frammento posteriore un'effigie ugualmente di età neroniana. The aim of the chapter is to identify main actions undertaken within the Polish road safety policy and to assess its efficacy based on the system approach, as well as to present recommendations for enhancing road safety in Poland. In the first part of the chapter key objectives of the EU road safety policy are elaborated. Then, the situation in Poland related to the number of road fatalities and to the causes of accidents is described, and policy instruments in Poland are presented. In the last part of the text an attempt is made to evaluate the Polish road safety policy. Besides, recommendations for improving road safety performance in Poland are elaborated on. The aim of this research is to find a solution for the standardization of road signs in the EU zone by a comparative analysis of different national sign systems to establish a common set from a single country. Celem opracowania jest zbadanie relacji między poziomem konkurencyjności rolnictwa w poszczególnych krajach Unii Europejskiej a przeciętną wielkością produkcji rolnej z 1 ha użytków rolnych. Dodatkowo w pracy podjęto próbę określenia charakteru przestrzennych zmian wielkości produkcji rolnej w podziale na sektory. Wyniki opracowano na podstawie metody zmian konkurencyjności Estebana-Marquillasa, która pozwala na diagnostykę potencjału produkcyjnego rolnictwa regionu. W latach 80. XX wieku ruch pokojowy mobilizujący setki tysięcy osób w protestach przeciwko podwójnej uchwale NATO z grudnia 1979 r. był istotnym elementem zachodnioniemieckiej sceny politycznej. Wpływał na układ sił i konflikty wewnętrzne w socjaldemokracji niemieckiej (SPD), będąc największym oponentem polityki prowadzonej przez rząd kanclerza Helmuta Schmidta, przyczynił się do powstania Partii Zielonych, a jego działania doprowadziły do zaistnienia polemiki w związkach zawodowych i były bodźcem do dyskusji etycznych i religijnych w Kościele katolickim i protestanckim w RFN. Stał się również przedmiotem wielu kontrowersji oraz symbolem aktywności i siły społecznej.

Agriculture is a contributing force to climate change due to unsustainable changes in land use with the usage of peatlands for food production in Finland.
