This study aims to discover the impact of pedagogical leadership on new teachers’ growth. The research is focused on three questions: 1) Are new teachers’ feelings and challenges being understood?; 2) How do new teachers receive support from principals and the school community?; and 3) How does pedagogical leadership impact new teachers’ growth? The research uses the qualitative approach of case studies. Four Finnish schools were selected as participants. European business life is in constant need of a skilled labour force; however, in some sectors there is starting to be a shortage of people with good skills. One of the problems is the drop-out rate in vocational upper secondary education and training.
