Suomalaisten yliopistojen henkilökunta ja opiskelijat ovat yhä monikielisempiä, ja tämä kielten kirjo kasvaa edelleen. Perinteisesti Suomessa opiskeltujen kielten lisäksi (ks. Darling tässä teemanumerossa) yliopistoissa on myös monien Euroopan ulkopuolella puhuttujen maailmankielten osaajia. Tämä muuttuva ja kasvava kielivaranto jää kuitenkin usein näkymättömäksi ja hyödyntämättömäksi resurssiksi sekä työ- että opiskeluyhteisön käytänteissä ja toiminnassa. Traditional school physical education focuses on physical skills or strategies with an expectation that learning these skills lead to healthier lifestyle outside physical education classes, while children’s overall moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA) is widely decreasing.
