Confronting different philosophical, religious and literary pieces of work, this thesis studies the concept of representation through the use of the four elements: Air, Earth, Water and Fire. Through the similar notions of participation, analogy, fold or flesh which bring up the question of relationship between body and soul, we realize that the representation, or staging, is an obvious way to understand this relationship, and is also, paradoxically, a way for the subject to put a distance between himself and the world. This thesis contains my empirical works resulting from three years of studying contingency learning, that is the human ability to learn regularities between two or more events, applied to music. Learning music requires time and effort. However, many skills can be automatized in less time-consuming and effortful ways. Indeed, some research suggests that many elements of music knowledge are mostly implicitly acquired. (à vérifier) This resolutely applied thesis tries to show the contribution of social psychology, based on theories of communication and intergroup relations. The goal is to optimize the care of offenders (PPSMJ) by understanding the relationships between different actors monitoring. The first two studies (1 and 2) allow the performances to emerge between professionals and PPSMJ. Our results lead us to consider the role of each in the representation they have of each other.
