The addition of $SU(2)_L$ triplet fermions of zero hypercharge with the Standard Model (SM) helps to explain the origin of the neutrino mass by the so-called seesaw mechanism. Such a scenario is commonly know as the type-III seesaw model. After the electroweak symmetry breaking the mixings between the light and heavy mass eigenstates of the neutral leptons are developed which play important roles in the study of the charged and neutral multiplets of the triplet fermions at the colliders. Indirect Catalytic Spectrophotometric Determination of Metamizol Following Oxidation by Lead Dioxide Immobilized in A Polyester Resin Bed

Abstract A spectrophotometric-indirect procedure for the determination of metamizol is described. The method is based on the reaction of the drug in a solid-phase (lead dioxide immobilized in a polyester resin bed) in acidic media (perchloric acid 0.01 M as carrier). The lead dioxide reactor provides simultaneously an effective oxidation of the drug and a controlled liberation of Pb(II) which acts as catalyst on the reaction pyrogallol red-potassium persulphate; the oxidation of the red pyrogallol results in a less coloured solution. Digenean parasites of the bivalve mollusc Pisidium amnicum in a small river in eastern Finland

The host-parasite relationship between digeneans and a semelparous population of the mollusc. Pisidium amnicum Müller in a small river in eastern Finland was studied during 1992/1993. The parasite prevalence of the population was high. The total prevalence was 45.6% in 1992 (n = 790) and 47.5% in 1993 (n = 160). The dominant digenean, Bunodera luciopercae (34.2% in 1992, 35.0% in 1993), had highest prevalences in July/August and in winter. Two other species, Palaeorchis crassus (7.8% in 1992, 7.5% in 1993) and Phyllodistomum elongatum (4.7% and 5.0%), were rare during the winter.
