Der pH-abhangige Einflus von Lysin auf die Hydrolyse von Acetylsalicylsaure zu Salicylsaure und auf die Bildung von Lysinderivaten der Acetylsalicylsaure wurde durch HPLC-Untersuchungen geklart. Die Bildung von e-N-Acetyl-lysin, α-N-Acetyl-lysin und wenig Diacetyl-lysin erfolgt rasch bei pH-Werten der Losung von 6 und hoher, sehr langsam jedoch bei dem fur gebrauchliche Injektionslosungen eingestellten pH-Wert 5. Throughout the present research I intend to demonstrate the powerful link between the vocal practice in accompanied monody and the way Early Italian violin music ought to be interpreted. Due to the scarce amount of articulation and ornamentation in this music, I consider that historical criteria should be found in order to back up the subjective choices in its performance. According to this, I focus on reviewing sources that describe the vocal practice around 1600, but also contemporary sources in which we can find instructions addressed to bow instruments. Occurrence of fumonisins in organic and conventional cereal-based products commercialized in France, Germany and Spain

A fast and effective method for quantitative determination of fumonisins B1 and B2 (FB1 and FB2) in different cereal-based products was developed. Fumonisins were extracted combining a solid liquid extraction (SLE) pre-treatment and immunoaffinity columns (IACs), which were applied for an effective clean-up. Consecutively, high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) coupled to hybrid triple quadrupole-linear ion trap mass spectrometer (QTrap®) was used for the separation, detection and quantification of targeted mycotoxins. Performance comparison of HARQ and ARQ mechanisms in IEEE 802.16 networks

The IEEE 802.16 technology defines several link level mechanisms to retransmit erroneous data. In this paper we compare the performance of the ARQ and HARQ mechanisms in the IEEE 802.16 networks. Our simulations results show that in general HARQ provides a better performance. However, ARQ can compete successfully with it due to a smaller signaling overhead. Furthermore, since ARQ does not require a dedicated uplink signaling channel for the acknowledgments messages, it results in better resources utilization in the uplink direction.
Analysis of the IEEE 802.11e EDCA Under Statistical Traffic

Many models have been proposed to analyze the performance of the IEEE 802.11 distributed coordination function (DCF) and the IEEE 802.11e enhanced distributed coordination function (EDCA) under saturation condition. To analyze DCF under statistical traffic, Foh and Zukerman introduce a model that uses Markovian Framework to compute the throughput and delay performance. In this paper, we analyze the protocol service time of EDCA mechanism and introduce a model to analyze EDCA under statistical traffic using Markovian Framework. Using this model, we analyze the throughput and delay performance of EDCA mechanism under statistical traffic.

The demand for the IEEE 802.11 wireless local-area networks (WLANs) has been drastically increasing along with many emerging applications and services over WLAN. However, the IEEE 802.11 medium access control (MAC) is known to be limited in terms of its throughput performance due to the high MAC overhead, such as interframe spaces (IFS) or per-frame based acknowledgement (ACK) frame transmissions. These differences persist also when thorough measurement methodologies (such as RF shielding, laptop rotation, etc) are applied, and alignment of the environmental factors (same laptop models, traffic generators, etc) is carried out.
