Pro Gradu -tutkielmani ensisijaisena tarkoituksena on ollut selvittää, millaista on olla äiti nykyajan yhteiskunnassa, jossa äitiin ja äitiyteen kohdistuu monia ristiriitaisia odotuksia ja vaatimuksia. Toiseksi olen selvittänyt, miten äitiyttä ja äitiyden identiteettiä rakennetaan arjen käytännöissä ja näihin läheisesti liittyvänä kolmantena tehtävänä olen tarkastellut, millaiset perheeseen ja yhteiskuntaan liittyvät tekijät vetävät äitiä eri suuntiin eli tekevät äitiydestä ambivalenttia. The purpose of this study was to explore the family dynamics in order to further understand and discover through interviews a parent and their children's behaviors in the topic area of physical activity choices. A narrative case study approach was taken to look into each family's experiences in order to better understand their motivations behind physical activity and to make conclusions of the social, environmental, and behavioral dynamics. The major light harvesting complex II (LHCII) of green plants plays a key role in the absorption of sunlight, the regulation of photosynthesis, and in preventing photodamage by excess light. The latter two functions are thought to involve the lumenal loop and the N-terminal domain. Their structure and mobility in an aqueous environment are only partially known. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) has been used to measure the structure of these hydrophilic protein domains in detergent-solubilized LHCII. Tässä kirjallisuuskatsauksessa kartoitettiin kansainvälisten tutkimusten valossa perhevalmennusohjelmien sisältöjä ja työmuotoja sekä selvitettiin, mitkä tukemisen tavoista olivat edistäneet parhaiten vanhemmuuteen valmistautumista ja perheiden hyvinvointia. Katsaukseen valittiin 14 empiiristä artikkelia, jotka käsittelivät vanhemmaksi tulon siirtymävaiheessa toteutettuja vanhemmuuden vahvistamiseen tähtääviä interventioita.
