Tutkimusaiheeni oli inarinsaamelainen musiikkiperinne, livðe. Inarinsaamelaista musiikkiperinnettä on syytä tutkia, sillä se on vasta hiljattain pelastettu arkistojen kätköistä takaisin elävän perinteen piiriin. Livðe oli 2000- luvun alussa katoamassa kokonaan. Tutkielman aiheena on suomalaisten puurakenteisten valmistalojen arkkitehtuuri ja kehitys 1980-luvulta 2000-luvulle. Koska aihetta ei ole tutkittu, tutkielman tavoitteena on saada ilmiöstä kokonaiskuva. Valmistalot ovat näkyvä osa suomalaista rakennettua ympäristöä, sillä teollisesti tuotetuista omakotitaloista tuli tutkittavana ajanjaksona suosituin omakotirakentamisen muoto. Road verges offer potential alternative habitats for meadow species, but they may not be suitable for all meadow species due to different soil properties, frequent disturbances, pollution or suboptimal management. According to an East -Finnish custom that came to an end around the beginning of the 20th century, the karsikko (conifer shorn of branches) and the cross-tree were prepared when the deceased was taken for burial. The Roman-Catholic Church and the Reformation introduced into folk beliefs the idea that the deceased did not journey all the way to the community of the dead. The main resource of the thesis came from 37 years of research work by Ahmad Shamlou, an Iranian poet. The body of research should be transformed from manuscript to digital material. Designing and implementing a semantic ontology for such a folk encyclopedia is a basic and essential part of the thesis. As the material bank is significantly large, semantic marking of the materials in their entirety must be done in a group action and this thesis aims to develop the appropriate framework for the encyclopedia. Introduction: Post-apartheid South Africa remains highly stratified on variable grounds including race. The 8.9 percent (whites) of the total population has an average income per capita that is five times higher than that of 79.2 percent (blacks). Socio-economic inequalities are embedded in a ‘culture of consumption’ which includes the availability of goods for sale and the marketization of basic human life experiences including health. Tässä maisterintutkielmassa tutkin kotimaisten kaunokirjallisten esikoisteosten takakansitekstejä promotionaalisuuden näkökulmasta. Työssäni ymmärrän promotionaalisuuden laajasti kaikiksi niiksi keinoiksi, joilla pyritään herättämään potentiaalisen ostajan kiinnostus. Käytännössä tarkastelen tutkielmassani niitä kielellisiä keinoja, joita käytetään kirjan markkinoimiseksi, eli kuinka takakansitekstin lukija yritetään houkutella lukemaan koko kirja.
