Bakalaura darbā “Studentu personiskās informācijas pārvaldība veselības jomā” pētīta Latvijas studentu personiskās informācijas pārvaldība veselības kontekstā – vai un kā studenti pārvalda savu veselības informāciju. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādi ir studentu personiskās veselības informācijas pārvaldības paradumi. Lai sasniegtu pētījuma mērķi, tika izmantotas divas teorijas – pragmatisms un sociāli kognitīvā teorija. Datu ieguvei tika izmantotas anketēšana un intervēšana. Chronic health problems related to mental wellbeing are rapidly growing, calling for novel solutions focusing on individual as a psychophysiological being. We describe a novel technology-based concept for empowering citizen towards holistic self-management of her wellbeing: “P4Well” (Pervasive Personal and PsychoPhysiological management of WELLness). The primary focus of the concept is on management of stress and recovery from stress caused by daily life through improved health management strategies. PurposeThe aim of this paper is to define health literacy as a learning outcome in schools, and to describe the learning conditions that are relevant for targeting health literacy.Design/methodology/approachThe paper draws on theoretical and empirical educational literature, and also the experiences of the authors.FindingsHealth literacy is defined as consisting of five core components: theoretical knowledge, practical knowledge, critical thinking, self‐awareness, and citizenship.
