Music listening is a great resource for mental well-being, pleasure, and self-regulation, but it may also be maladaptive. Depression, for instance, has been shown to relate to music use that is characterized by rumination, avoidance, and mood worsening. Personal correlates of problematic types of social media and mobile phone use in emerging adults

We investigated the occurrence of selected types of problematic social media and mobile phone use in emerging adults, specifically social media and mobile phone overuse, phubbing, creeping, and catfishing. Contemporaneous relations with age, gender, and Big Five personality traits were examined. The participants comprised 459 Slovenian emerging adults, aged 18 to 29 years (68% female). The results suggest that problematic behaviors associated with social media and mobile phone use, with the exception of catfishing, are relatively common among young people. Opettajan sanotaan tekevän työtä persoonallaan. Tutkin tässä kandidaatintutkielmassa, miten tämä väite toteutuu musiikinopettajan kohdalla. Tarkoitukseni on tutkia, kuinka musiikinopettaja käyttää persoonaansa opetuksensa apuvälineenä. Tärkein tutkimustehtäväni on selvittää, yhdistetäänkö kuvaan hyvästä musiikinopettajasta tiettyjä persoonallisuuden piirteitä.
