Bakalaura darba Apzīmētāju virkņu struktūra plašsaziņas līdzekļos mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādi faktori ietekmē apzīmētāju secību prepozicionālā apzīmētāju virknē. Tēmas aktualitāti nosaka tas, ka latviešu valodā apzīmētāju secība ir maz pētīta un faktori, kas nosaka apzīmētāju secību virknē ir apzināti tikai daļēji. Validation of Semantic Analyses of Unstructured Medical Data for Research Purposes

BACKGROUND: In secondary data there are often unstructured free texts. The aim of this study was to validate a text mining system to extract unstructured medical data for research purposes. METHODS: From a radiological department, 1,000 out of 7,102 CT findings were randomly selected. These were manually divided into defined groups by 2 physicians. For automated tagging and reporting, the text analysis software Averbis Extraction Platform (AEP) was used. The present paper examines the transfer of nomino-adjectival collocations based on the word ‘femme’ (‘woman’) in the literary translation from French into Italian and Polish. The lexical connection analysed in the article can be defined as the habitual juxtaposition of a word with another word (or words) that has a significant frequency in a given language. The research corpus comprises seven Michel Houellebecq’s novels written originally in French and their Italian and Polish versions. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan kielitaidon taitotasoittaista kehittymistä potentiaalisten esiintymien analyysin (Potential Occasion Analysis, Thewissen, 2015) avulla. Kehittymistä analysoidaan tarkkuuden näkökulmasta, ja sitä mitataan kohdekielen muoto- ja käyttökonventioista poikkeavien muotojen määrällä.
