The endometrial window of implantation (WOI), the cycle days during which normal embryo implantation can occur, has generally been assumed to begin on cycle day 19 or 20 of an idealized 28 days cycle and last for 4 to 5 days. We investigated the relationship between WRF and a decrease in BNP with in-hospital and 1-year mortality in AHF. ABSTRACT In this paper we present an interfacial finite element designed for analysing planar interfaces in a three-dimensional approach. The element is derived from Hellinger-Reissner's mixed variational principle and takes into account the continuity of the displacement and of the transverse stress components through the interface. Stress analysis of a sandwich plate is made to assess the validity and the effectiveness of the element models, with comparisons to closed-form and numerical solutions.
Landslide Impacts on Agrigento’s Cathedral Imaged with Radar Interferometry

ERS1/2 (1992–2000), ENVISAT (2002–2008) and RADARSAT1 (2003–2007) satellite data, processed with Persistent Scatterer Interferometry, are exploited to study the historic urban area of Agrigento, Italy, whose structural stability is threatened by retrogressive landslide processes. Up to 2–5mm/year of line-of-sight displacement are observed in 1992–2008 on the staircase and the left aisle of the Cathedral. Displacement acceleration to 13–15mm/year is measured in July 2006–May 2007, in the northern portion of the churchyard, in front of the left aisle. Tourism development from disaster capitalism.

This research note focuses on the impact of tourism development from disaster capitalism as expressed by post-disaster land grabs and forced population displacement. Case studies highlighted are India, Thailand and Sri Lanka following the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami; Honduras after Hurricane Mitch in 1998; and Barbuda following Hurricane Irma in 2017, demonstrating how disaster capitalism continues to be in play. The examples draw on disaster research to show how tourism development from disaster capitalism leads to more disasters. Long-standing disaster research can assist tourism researchers in identifying how to counter harmful post-disaster tourism development.

The fossil burrower bug Eocenocydnus lisi described from the Late Eocene of the Isle of Wight, UK, is analysed using a parallel, cross-eyed viewing method. The species, tentatively placed in the subfamily Sehirinae, is redescribed and its systematic position is discussed. Newly recovered morphological characteristics allow it to be placed in the tribe Cydnini of the subfamily Cydninae.

In this analysis both the ge nerational and the regional perspective are taken into account to understand, how postponement behaviour is spreading from one region to the other and from one generation to the next. For fixed size sampling designs with high entropy it is well known that the variance of the Horvitz-Thompson estimator can be approximated by the H\'ajek formula. The interest of this asymptotic variance approximation is that it only involves the first order inclusion probabilities of the statistical units. We extend this variance formula when the variable under study is functional and we prove, under general conditions on the regularity of the individual trajectories and the sampling design, that we can get a uniformly convergent estimator of the variance function of the Horvitz-Thompson estimator of the mean function.
