First of all, the article proposes to divide Primo Levi’s poetic work in two main time periods: 1) from the beginnings (1945) to the publication of the first poetry book (The Bremen Beer-Hall, All’insegna del pesce d’oro, 1975); 2) from 1975 to the death of the author, occurred in 1987. This distinction mirrors the concept of a poetic itinerary which seems to be a heterogeneous studio of topics and languages originally developed, if compared with Levi’s prose. The article is an attempt to recognize Julian Kornhauser’s critical idiom in the first decade of 21st century. The author takes steps to inscribe the critical project of The Inner World author into the congenial paradigm of the French thematic school (borders of empathy and identification, fascination and understanding, authenticity), and to pinpoint the basic ideas that Kornhauser’s critical thought circulates around (the issue of authenticity and identity of a poem persona and a critic).

This paper aims to demonstrate how much Adrian Henri’s poetry changed in his last years. As a member of the Liverpool Poets together with Roger McGough and Brian Patten, Adrian Henri was attracted by what Edward Lucie-Smith called ‘performativity’. The three of them very often played public readings. Their poetry was a real ‘oral’ literature, lyrical, as only British poetry can be. Mortified by a heart attack in the late ‘90s, Henri changed his life and literary stile, adopting a more subjective and romantic use of the words, whose main power was to be evocative as well as rich in symbols.

The main aim of the article is to examine the grammatical and stylistic functions of the predicative attribute in the poetic work of Nekrasov. The study contributes to the general ‘grammar of poetry’, which has been proposed and developed by Roman Jakobson. The study shows that Nekrasov often used the predicative attribute and it constitutes one of the specific features of his style. Grammatically extended adjectival, participial and adverbial phrases, frequent in Nekrasov’s poetry, cause additional predication, which makes it possible to expand the narrative. This paper reconstructs the debate raised by the thesis on cinema proposed by Pier Paolo Pasolini. In particular, two basic notions are addressed: the idea of cinema as a 'written language of reality' and the role of free indirect discourse for the establishment of a 'poetry cinema'. Pasolini is put into dialogue with Gilles Deleuze, Paolo Fabbri and other semiologists.
