The text presents the relationship between labour market indicators and the social configuration of employment and the budget of active employment and local development policies in the Valencian Country in the last twenty years. Through the analysis of the data of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security and the Valencian Employment and Training Service, it shows the results of an ongoing investigation. The main conclusions reached are that expenditure on employment policies has been inconsistent with developments in the labour market at times of greatest need for such action. This article achieves a comparative analysis between the Citizenship and Integration Programme (2007-2010) and the spanish Migration Bill Project. Firstly, it aims to analyze whether the concept of integration, as it was introduced as a general principle within the Migration Bill, is consistent with the concept of the Programme. Secondly, it is about to examine how the notion of integration affects some of the provisions, which are introduced by the law reform, especially on fundamental rights. Finally, this leads to assess the implications and strains between migration control policies and integration policies about migrants’.
Places and politics of memory: theoretical and methodological notes from the argentine experience

The aim of this paper is to study some substantive aspects into the relationship between memories, politics and places in the field of memory studies. The proposal that guides it is to advance in the construction of a theoretical and conceptual framework for the analysis of different strategies of spacialization of social memory related to actors and events of pasts of state violence and political repression, with focus on the argentine case.
