Most researches in Constitutional Law and many politicians assume that democracy is in danger because a lack of political participation by citizens. The aim of this brief paper is to demonstrate the value of political participation of citizens in a democratic system. The Articles 1st, 2nd, 48th and 49th of the Italian Constitution will be examined in this paper, including the speech of members of the Italian Constitutional Assembly, Aldo Moro (1947) and Pietro Calamandrei (1955). Psiholoģisko pamatvajadzību saistība ar politisko un pilsonisko rīcību un uzticešanos

Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas saistības pastāv starp psiholoģiskajām pamatvajadzībām (autonomiju, kompetenci attiecībām), politisko un pilsonisko piedalīšanos un uzticēšanos. Tā ietvaros tika aptaujāti Latvijas iedzīvotaji (n=88), kuri sniedza atbildes uz psiholoģisko pamatvajadzību aptauju, pilsoniskās iesaistes aptauju, Eiropas sociālās aptaujas pilsoniskās piedalīšanās skalu un tās jautājumiem par politisko un starppersonu uzticēšanos. Maģistra darba temata nosaukums ir “Saprotot politisko uzticēšanos: tās loma un nozīmīgākie faktori. Latvijas gadījuma analīze”. Sabiedrības uzticība tās valsts pārvaldes un politiskajām institūcijām jeb politiskā uzticēšanās ir kopumā uzskatāms par būtisku priekšnoteikumu sekmīgai demokrātiskas valsts attīstībai. Un, lai gan jautājums par politisko uzticēšanos ir centrāls daudziem politikas zinātnes pētījumiem un par nozīmi ir ticis diskutēts jau ilgāku laiku, tomēr neskatoties uz to, pastāv vēl daudz neatbildētu jautājumu attiecībā uz politiskās uzticēšanās nozīmi un lomu politiskajā sistēmā.
