Hankkiessaan Beatles-nuotinnoksen käsiinsä ei kuluttajalla välttämättä ole ollenkaan käsitystä siitä, minkä tasoinen kulloinenkin nuotinnos on, eli kuinka luotettava se on verrattuna alkuperäiseen lähteeseen eli levyyn. Musiikin käyttäjälle olisi varmasti paljon hyötyä ja iloa siitä, jos nuotit vastaisivat paremmin levyjä – valitettavasti vain julkaistut nuotinnokset ovat suurelta osin puutteellisia ja jättäneet paljon toivomisen varaa. Myös maailmalla erittäin paljon myydyn ja tunnetun ”The Beatles Complete Scoresin” transkriptiot ovat monelta osin kaukana siitä mitä levyillä todellisuudessa on. Improvisoinnin opetus pop/jazz-laulutunnilla

Tutkimukseni käsittelee improvisointia ja sen osuutta pop/jazz-laulunopetuksessa. Tutkin sekä improvisoinnin vaikuttavuutta, että sen tuomia mahdollisuuksia opetuksen kehittämiseen. Tutkimukseni pyrkii selvittämään, kuinka improvisointia käytetään pop/jazz-laulutunnilla, millaisia opetusmenetelmiä on käytössä ja ovatko opettajat saaneet koulutusta improvisoinnin opetukseen. Tutkimuksen keskeisimpinä taustateorioina olen käyttänyt kahta erilaista taustateoriaa, Lucy Greenin informaaliin oppimiseen liittyvät tutkimukset sekä John Kratuksen seitsemän portaan improvisointimallin. Producing Disgust : Profanation, the Carnivalesque, and Queering as Keys for Understanding the Unsettling Pop Cultural Performance of Die Antwoord

This chapter looks at the terminology that we have for discussing deliberate disgust production. Terms such as profanation, the carnivalesque and queering describe processes that attack, highlight, and possibly question a society’s norms and power relations by portraying something that might otherwise be sacred or conventional in an inappropriate, parodic or weird manner. Since norm violations may induce disgust, these terms may be considered as engaging with disgust. Yet the aims and outcomes of the engagement that they describe seem different.
