The principal purpose of this paper is to determine the incidence of the corporate income taxes which explains directly or indirectly (with an incidence on the traditional variables of the determination of capital structures) the global evolution of capital structures of french firms over the period 1988 and 1998. We provide too the possible reason which justifies why some firms have an evolution of capital structure in the opposite direction or in attenuated way in comparison with the general tendency.

Analysis of the charge state distribution produced in a 78Kr + 98Mo fusion evaporation reaction utilizing the MARA separator

Experimental results on the charge state distribution of the fusion evaporation reaction 78Kr + 98Mo are presented. The data has been taken from the 1st commissioning run of MARA (Mass Analysing Recoil Apparatus). Data from the charge states of q = 29 − 33 were collected. Here, q represents the elementary charge describing the number of electrons removed from a neutral atom. Results show an expected gaussian distribution around the most probable charge, ̄q. A most probable charge state of ̄q = (27.99 ± 0.20) was obtained after fitting the data. The value of ̄q was lower than initially anticipated, which was mainly a result of a less than desired beam energy delivered on the day of testing.

The preparation procedure for nanoparticles of the water-soluble salts Na2S and ZnSO4, two commonly used reagents to synthesise ZnS nanoparticles, by evaporation of volatile components of salt-containing water-in-oil microemulsions is described. In suitable conditions, the evaporation leads to the formation of dry salt–surfactant composites and to the formation of Na2S or ZnSO4 nanoparticles. A new and simple method to prepare solid nanoparticles of water-soluble salts using water-in-oil microemulsions is described. In particular, starting from water/sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate/n-heptane microemulsions carrying inside the aqueous core of the reversed micelles some water-soluble salts [CaCl2, Na2HPO4, Cu(NO3)2], after evaporation of the volatile components (water and apolar organic solvent), the resulting inorganic salt/surfactant composites were found to be totally dispersible in pure n-heptane. A preparation method is described by means of which it is possible to transfer individual molecules of a high molecular weight polymer on a support, in order to determine their mass and therefrom their molecular weight distribution, using our previously published electron microscopic method. A simple vacuum deposition method for the preparation of high quality hybrid organic-inorganic methylammonium lead iodide perovskite thin films is reported. When sandwiched in between organic charge transporting layers, such films lead to solar cells with a power conversion efficiency of 12.2%.
