Patrones de evolución de filiales en entornos volátiles

En este trabajo se aplican y se extienden los patrones de evolución de filiales planteados por Birkinshaw y Hood, al estudiar la influencia de los entornos volátiles sobre los procesos de evolución de las filiales de empresas multinacionales. Utilizando una metodología cualitativa a través de 41 estudios de casos de filiales de diversos sectores localizadas en Venezuela, se observó que las mismas siguen procesos conducentes a la mejora, el refuerzo y al declive de sus roles. In the present work, two different membrane processes (pervaporation and dialysis) are compared in view of their utilization in a membrane reactor, where vanillin, which is probably the most important aroma of the food industry, is synthesized in a green and sustainable way. The utilized precursor (ferulic acid, which is possibly a natural product from agricultural wastes) is partially oxidized (photocatalytically or biologically) and the product is continuously recovered from the reacting solution by the membrane process to avoid its degradation. To our knowledge, this is the first paper to look into this phenomenon in South America, which is a very important geographical area regarding climate change because of the local nature and developing economies.
