Considerazioni sulle strutture edilizie dell'area del Tempio-Criptoportico

Il contributo si prefigge lo scopo di analizzare le emergenze architettoniche dell'area del Tempio-Criptoportico, centro cultuale della città romana di Urbs Salvia. Il grande complesso sntuariale venen eretto in età tiberiano-claudia al di sopra di un quartiere abitativo di notevole pregio che si affacciava sul lato orientale del Foro della città. Un poderoso Criptoportico fungeva da sostegno ad un Tempio esastilo corinzio, del quale oggi restano solo scarni resti del podio, circondato da un portico su tre lati. Lo studio propone una ipotesi ricostruttiva del complesso e delle sue fasi di vita.

3D survey and modelling of Cultural Heritage allow to store a great deal of 3D data that can be managed for different purposes. 3D models can be used for documentation, restoration and knowledge of historic architectures and monuments. In this work, a 3D survey of the main portico of the Cathedral of Monreale (Palermo, Italy) was carried out. The paper presents the data acquisition process and the 3D modelling phase. The work is aimed to reconstruct a 3D model that could be used also to set up an HBIM (Heritage or Historic Building Information Modelling) of the main portico. In the year 1788, the parish of Los Santos Juanes in Valencia proposed to the City Council the erection of same classical-style portico in order to beautify its outer eastern façade, surrounding the head of the temple and relying on the Plaza del Mercado. This portico was never built, but there would be an impact of such an architectural purpose in subsequent reform plans of that outstanding urban location.
