Se presenta en este texto un problema específico dentro de una investigación más amplia sobre la pedagogía líquida considerada como un elemento característico de la postmodernidad. Se expone el significado de la metáfora líquida aplicada a la pedagogía y se discuten dos posibilidades de uso del significante «pedagogía líquida»: a) como imaginario pedagógico y b) como teoría de la educación. Šī maģistra darba galvenais mērķis ir analizēt poskoloniālo pārdabisko Amitava Goša romānā “Kolkatas Hromosoma” (1995). Amitavs Gošs ir augsti novērtēts autors, kura darbi nes svarīgu ieguldījumu postkoloniālājā diskursā. Maģistra darba teorētiskā daļa ir balstīta uz dažādām teorijām, kas analizē konceptu postkoloniālais pārdabiskais. Tajās ir iekļautas tādas teorijas kā; postkoloniālisms, postmodernitāte, ‘pārdabiskā’ astētikas iezīmes un Neo-Viktoriāņu gotika. Šīs teorijas tiek izmantotas, lai interpretētu romāna tekstu darba praktiskajā daļā. Diplomdarba tēma ir “Postmodernisms kā parādība grafikas dizainā”. Balstoties uz teorētisku un empīrisku pētījumu, darba mērķis ir izveidot maketu Džordža Orvela romānam “Dzīvnieku ferma”, izmantojot postmodernisma grafikas dizainam raksturīgus mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļus. Teorētiskajā daļā aprakstīts postmodernisma jēdziens mākslā, mākslas stili, kas iedvesmojuši postmodernismu (Bauhaus, dadaisms), postmodernisma izpausme grafikas dizainā – Jaunā viļņa (New wave) kustība un Memfisas grupas dizaineru darbība.
