National audience; La fouille en 2014 d’un secteur du quartier artisanal de la Genetoye a permis de mettre au jour un riche et abondant mobilier de coroplastie. Composé de 190 individus, ce corpus, actuellement en cours d’étude, permet d’ores et déjà d’en savoir plus sur la production de figurine en terre cuite à la Genetoye et plus largement sur la ville d’Autun-Augustodunum.

Of the three arverni oppida situated in the southern part of the Clermont-Ferrand basin, Gondole isthe least known to the general public and to the scientific communities. Unlike her sister sites, Corentand Gergovie, detailed surveys of Gondole have only recently begun, mainly because Gondole lay undiscovered until the early 1990’s. The rescue archaeology trial trenching carried out between 2002 and 2005 led to the discovery of thefamous horses and human burial, and marked the beginning of the archaeological research aroundthis site. How was pottery made during the Bronze Age? The technological ceramic study carried out on 16 habitation and 3 funerary sites of the upper Rhine Valley and its surroundings, which date from the 10th to the 8th centuries BC, reveals an incredible variety among chaînes opératoires. Macrotraces observed on 829 ceramics are abundantly illustrated, and their interpretation is based on a review of numerous ethnographic and experimental reference papers. The chaînes opératoires are depicted by trees following a rigorous method of hierarchical data clustering.
