We investigated the evolution and epidemiology of a novel livestock-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus strain, which colonizes and infects urban-dwelling Danes even without a Danish animal reservoir. Genetic evidence suggests both poultry and human adaptation, with poultry meat implicated as a probable source.

Abstract Background Availability of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) genotyping arrays and progress in statistical analyses have allowed the identification of genomic regions and genes under selection in chicken. In this study, SNP data from the 600 K Affymetrix chicken array were used to detect signatures of selection in 23 local Italian chicken populations. Bodźce pozacenowe w kontraktach rolnych. Powiązania umowne między grupami producentów rolnych a ich pierwszymi odbiorcami w Polsce

Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja stosowanych bodźców pozacenowych w umowach rolnych, które mogłyby potencjalnie skłaniać agenta do działania zgodnego z interesem kontraktora. Zastosowanie tego typu zachęt może potencjalnie minimalizować problem pokusy nadużycia ze strony agenta jeszcze w trakcie jej obowiązywania, tj. w trakcie produkcji rolnej. Dla realizacji założonego celu wykorzystano badanie własne z użyciem ankiety. Badanie empiryczne przeprowadzono wśród grup producentów rolnych działających na rynku drobiu, a przedmiotem badań były kontrakty rolne podpisane w 2014 roku.
