El presente artículo analiza cómo se afianza en la escena social la corporalidad del liderazgo. Para ello, aborda imágenes y narrativas que circulan en los entramados simbólicos de la cultura del bienestar, que también se denomina como cultura activa. El cuerpo del liderazgo se ofrece al público mediante estrategias positivas y negativas. Empowerment comes at a time when global competition and change require people to take initiative and be innovative. Based on the active, persistent, and change-oriented behaviors associated with psychological empowerment, the chapter states that empowerment can contribute to entrepreneurship. The dimensions of empowerment that suggest a theoretical and empirical link with entrepreneurial behavior are discussed. Happy and proactive ?:The role of hedonic and eudaimonic well-being in business owners’ personal initiative

This two-year study with 122 business owners examined the link between affective well-being and task-oriented as well as relationship-oriented personal initiative (PI). We tested two complementary models explaining the link between well-being and PI: (1) broaden-and-build theory and (2) self-regulation as limited resource approach. In line with current research on well-being, we differentiated between hedonic and eudaimonic well-being using life satisfaction and vigor as indicators. Hierarchical regression analyses showed that only vigor predicted both forms of PI. Abstract A new analytical procedure, based on liquid chromatography with diode array and fluorescence detection, has been proposed for the determination of bioactive compounds in vegetables and spices after hard cap espresso extraction. This novel extraction system has been tested for the determination of capsaicin and dihydrocapsaicin from fresh chilli and sweet pepper, piperine from ground pepper, curcumin from turmeric and curry, and myristicin from nutmeg. Extraction efficiency was evaluated by using acetonitrile:water and ethanol:water mixtures. The proposed method allows the extraction of samples with 100 mL of 60% (v/v) ethanol in water. Abstract In the present article we study global existence for a nonlinear parabolic equation having a reaction term and a Radon measure datum: where 1 < p < N, Ω is a bounded open subset of ℝN (N ≥ 2), Δpu = div(|∇u|p−2∇u) is the so called p-Laplacian operator, sign s ., ϕ(ν0) ∈ L1(Ω), μ is a finite Radon measure and f ∈ L∞(Ω×(0, T)) for every T > 0. Then we apply this existence result to show wild nonuniqueness for a connected nonlinear parabolic problem having a gradient term with natural growth.
Efficient generation of restricted growth words

A length n restricted growth word is a word w=w"1w"2...w"n over the set of integers where w"1=0 and each w"i, i>1, lies between 0 and the value of a word statistics of the prefix w"1w"2...w"i"-"1 of w, plus one. Restricted growth words simultaneously generalize combinatorial objects as restricted growth functions, staircase words and ascent or binary sequences. Here we give a generic generating algorithm for restricted growth words. It produces a Gray code and runs in constant average time provided that the corresponding statistics has some local properties.
Removing the saturation assumption in Bank-Weiser error estimator analysis in dimension three

International audience; We provide a new argument proving the reliability of the Bank-Weiser estimator for Lagrange piecewise linear finite elements in both dimension two and three. The extension to dimension three constitutes the main novelty of our study. In addition, we present a numerical comparison of the Bank-Weiser and residual estimators for a three-dimensional test case.
