Maģistra darba tēma ir “Likumsakarības ministru portfeļu sadalījumā starp frakcijām Baltijas valstu likumdevējos (1990-2016)”. Darba izpētes jautājums ir, vai var novērot likumsakarības ministru portfeļu sadalē starp politiskajiem spēkiem katrā no Baltijas valstīm? Teorētiskajā daļā tiek veikts nozīmīgāko koalīcijas un valdību veidošanas teoriju izklāsts un analīze un uz to pamata tiek izvirzītas 3 hipotēzes par proporcionalitāti politisko spēku ieguvumos pēc valdību izveidošanas un iespējamām strukturālām attiecībām starp ministru portfeļiem. La variazione dell'effetto di un fattore di rischio in un modello di sopravvivenza a rischi proporzionali di Cox è di particolare interesse in molte applicazioni, in quanto l'allontanamento dall'ipotesi di proporzionalità dei rischi rende il modello inadeguato. Di particolare interesse è il caso in cui le funzioni di rischio di due gruppi si intersecano, ovvero, più in generale, il coefficiente di regressione cambia segno dopo un istante temporale detto crossing-point. Abstract Background Adalimumab and golimumab are effective in the treatment of moderate to severe ulcerative colitis. Aims We reported the comparative effectiveness of adalimumab and golimumab in ulcerative colitis. Methods 118 patients treated with adalimumab and 79 treated with golimumab were included and evaluated at 8 weeks and at the end of follow up. Results Overall clinical benefit was 72.6% at 8 weeks and 58.9% at the end of follow up. Patients with longer disease duration and those treated with adalimumab had a better outcome. Enabling Energy Savings in Offshore Mechatronic Systems by using Self-Contained Cylinders

This paper proposes a novel actuation system for an offshore drilling application. It consists of three self-contained electro-hydraulic cylinders that can share and store regenerated energy. The energy saving potential of the proposed solution is analyzed through a multibody system simulation. Poverty Permanence Among European Youth

Previous studies suggest that Scandinavian countries are the ones with the highest rates of youth poverty in Europe. This somewhat unexpected finding prompts the question whether the incidence of poverty is an appropriate measure of youth disadvantage. Instead of considering poverty rates we define here youth disadvantage in terms of the number of periods an individual is recorded to be below the poverty line. Using the European Community Household Panel, individuals are classified into different groups of poverty permanence, each reflecting severity of social disadvantage.
