AbstractThis article analyzes different pathologies of social affirmation and examines the grounds of social recognition from the point of view of the concept of expression. The red thread of the text is provided by Tove Jansson’s fictional works, and the focus will be on three cases in particular (the magic hat, the invisible girl and the figure of the Groke). The article sets out from the phenomenological distinction between the sensible expression, on the one hand, and the expressed content, on the other. Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää opiskelijoiden näkemyksiä ja kokemuksia opetuskokeilusta, jonka toteutimme lukion ruotsin kurssilla. Opetuskokeilu oli suunnittelemamme projekti, jossa opiskelijat valmistivat sisältöä yhteiseen sähköiseen aikakauslehteen. Opetuskokeilun lähtökohtina toimivat muun muassa lukion uusi opetussuunnitelma, tehtäväpohjainen kielenoppiminen, kollaboratiivinen oppiminen sekä mahdollisuus yksilöllistämiseen. Denna pro gradu-avhandling behandlar sfärisk geometri och kartprojektioner. Första kapitelet ger en introduktion till den icke-euklidiska geometrin sfärisk geometri. Avstånd och vinklar på en sfär definieras och det bevisas bl.a att den kortaste vägen mellan två punkter på en sfär alltid är en storcirkelbåge. Harriot-Girards sats som säger att man kan räkna ut en triangels area med hjälp av sfärens radie och triangelns vinklar bevisas med hjälp av månskäror. Student experiences of project-based learning in an analytical chemistry laboratory course in higher education

Abstract This study describes students’ experiences in project-based learning (PjBL) incorporated as part of a revised undergraduate analytical chemistry laboratory course. We examined which phases were the easiest as well as the most challenging and what student skills developed during the research project. The research data were collected between 2016 and 2018 via two questionnaires. They were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. One questionnaire focused on the whole course (in 2016–2018, n = 127) of which only the answers on the research project questions were analyzed. Repeatedly documented positive student responses to project-based learning during its decades-long tradition in CS attest to the effectiveness of learning by doing.
