We study the existence of Daugavet- and delta-points in the unit sphere of Banach spaces with a 1 1 -unconditional basis. A norm one element x x in a Banach space is a Daugavet-point (resp. delta-point) if every element in the unit ball (resp. x x itself) is in the closed convex hull of unit ball elements that are almost at distance 2 2 from x x . Computer users copy computer software - this is well-known. However, less well-known are the reasons why some computer users choose to make unauthorized copies of computer software. Furthermore, the relationship linking the theory and the practice is unknown, i.e., how the attitudes of ordinary end-users correspond with the theoretical views of computer ethics scholars. To explore how quality aspects and clients’ verbal behaviors in Motivational Interviewing sessions correspond with counsellors’ support of basic psychological needs described in Self-determination Theory, we conducted a mixed method study with quantitative analyses of transformed qualitative data from counselling sessions. Coding manuals identified if the counselling was consistent with Motivational Interviewing and the support of basic psychological needs. Abstract Purpose The aim of this study was to evaluate the program “No more smoking! It's time for physical activity”, with a mixed methods design, in order to collect information to improve the program for future applications. Methods Forty patients across five anti-smoking clinics in Central Greece completed the program. Counselors' records and participants' questionnaires and interviews were used as data in order to evaluate the programs' process and outcome. The paper outlines a new development in the Contextuality-by-Default theory as applied to finite systems of binary random variables. The logic and principles of the original theory remain unchanged, but the definition of contextuality of a system of random variables is now based on multimaximal rather than maximal couplings of the variables that measure the same property in different contexts: a system is considered noncontextual if these multimaximal couplings are compatible with the distributions of the random variables sharing contexts. Lungi però dal voler fornire un quadro generale della stessa, l’articolo si concentra esclusivamente su due profili problematici, entrambi presumibilmente figli di una non adeguata ponderazione delle scelte di incriminazione.
