Becoming conscious refers to how new mental content emerges in the mind. To understand this phenomenon, we studied how people experience graffiti by thinking aloud. In protocols, we found three types of becoming conscious: experiencing emotional and perceptual content directly linked to a perceivable object, non-perceivable or apperceived information content, and transformation and restructuring processes. Föreliggande studie har ett sociokulturellt och dialogiskt perspektiv på språkinlärning. Det huvudsakliga syftet med studien är att bättre förstå den komplexa interaktionen mellan inlärare och lärare i språkklassen. Ett annat syfte utgörs av en önskan att utveckla kurserna i franska vid yrkeshögskolan Arcada. Inlärarna utgjordes av vuxna yrkeshögskolestuderande och språket som studerades var fritt valbart. I studien kartlades 108 studenters åsikter om olika ramfaktorers inverkan på lärmiljön och lärprocessen. Dialogicality in teaching process drama : three narratives, three frameworks

This case study explores dialogicality in teaching process drama through the narratives and practices of three experienced drama teachers of the Open University. Dialogue is understood here in the context of ‘I-Thou’ attitude and as the phenomenon of heteroglossia. The analyses of the videotaped reflective interviews with the teachers and process dramas revealed a polyphonic picture of dialogicality in the teaching process, in which juxtapositions of communion and alterity are favoured. These findings may help drama teachers to become more conscious about the challenges and possibilities of generating a fluid and energised dialogicality in process drama. peerReviewed

The present article examines collaborative writing in organizational consulting and training, where writing takes place as part of a group discussion assignment and is carried out by using digital writing technologies. In the training, the groups use digital tablets as their writing device in order to document their answers in the shared digital platform. The aim of this study was to build a conception as well as a substantive theory of adult learners’ group learning. The framework for this study is andragogy, which places the life context of adult learners at the center of the learning process (Knowles 1990). This study has been carried out using grounded theory as a research methodology. Hermeneutics offers a broad scientific paradigm for the understanding of group learning as a phenomenon, whereas grounded theory offers a concrete tool for analyzing data and developing a substantive theory.
