Tämän tutkielman tarkoituksena oli kuvata luottamuksen ja itsestäkertomisen merkitystä ja ilmenemistä psykoterapeutin ja potilaan välisessä vuorovaikutussuhteessa. Tavoitteena oli tarkastella potilaiden sekä psykoterapeuttien kokemuksia luottamuksesta ja itsestäkertomisesta sekä näiden ilmiöiden suhteesta toisiinsa. Teoreettisen tutkimuksen tarkoituksena on kartoittaa musiikkiterapeutin narsimin haasteita. Taustalla on Kimmo Lehtosen esittämä ajatus kolminkertaisesta narsimin haasteesta. Hänen mukaansa ammatissamme yhdistyy ihmisen, terapeutin sekä muusikon narsismi. Yhtenä tavoitteena on ollut tutkia tuota väitettä ja löytää lisäargumentteja puolesta ja vastaan. The purpose of my study was to use the Psychotherapist Identity Interview (PII) method, developed for this study and based on Erik H. Erikson's and Heinz Kohut's theories, to examine the significance of the personal characteristics of psychotherapists for psychotherapy, and their effect on treatment results. AbstractTriggering factors play an important role in the development of psychological disorders. Practicing psychotherapists have valuable knowledge on psychological disorders and since their views on triggering factors have not been reported in the literature, triggers were addressed in this study from psychotherapists’ perspectives.
