Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of vitrectomy combined with intravitreal dexamethasone implant vs. vitrectomy without the implant in patients with epiretinal membrane (ERM) by conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis.Methods: Studies that compared ERM vitrectomy with and without intraoperative dexamethasone implant with a follow-up ≥3 months were included. Conformational analysis of methyl-substituted 9,10-dihydroanthracenes

The amount of the ring puckering in methyl-substituted 9,10- dihydroanthracene was theoretically determined through DFT calculations. Theoretical calculations allowed to obtain the geometrical structures and energetic data on the different considered isomers.

SEAM PUCKERING EVALUATION METHOD FOR SEWING PROCESS

The paper presents an automated method for the assessment and classification of puckering defects detected during the preproduction control stage of the sewing machine or product inspection. In this respect, we have presented the possible causes and remedies of the wrinkle nonconformities. Subjective factors related to the control environment and operators during the seams evaluation can be reduced using an automated system whose operation is based on image processing.
