Importance Purpose in Life in Reducing Aggressive Response in Adolescence

In order to study the Purpose in Life related to the Aggressive Behavior, we applied the translated version of “Life Purpose Test” by Crumbaugh and Maholich and the Violent Behavior Scale (CA) by Little on 771 subjects, of which 354 were men and 409 were women, with ages between 11 and 17 years, all of them students schools belonging to the province of Valencia. The results are congruent with the initial hypothesis; The Purpose in Life is negatively correlated to the subject´s Aggressive Behavior, so that people having a high level of Sense of Life will less involved in aggressive behavior.

The analysis of video traffic characteristics plays a fundamental role in the evaluation of network performance or schedule design. However, the majority of these analyses are based on the study of traffic characteristics generated with different codifiers on typical general purpose films or sequences. These are generally made using asymmetric codifiers which are not usable in live real-time multimedia transmission systems. Submerged speleothems and sea level reconstructions: a global overview and new results from the Mediterranean Sea

This study presents a global overview of the submerged speleothems used to reconstruct paleo sea levels and reports new results from two stalactites collected in the Mediterranean Sea. Coastal cave deposits significantly contributed to the understanding of global and regional sea-level variations during the Middle and Late Quaternary. The studied speleothems cover the last 1.4 Myr and focused mainly on Marine Isotope Stages (MIS) 1, 2, 3, 5.1, 5.3, 5.5, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3 and 7.5. Following the restoration of natural conditions by reducing human pressures, reforestation is currently considered a possible option to accelerate the recovery of seagrass habitats. Long-term monitoring programs theoretically represent an ideal solution to assess whether a reforestation plan has produced the desired results. Here, we report on the performance of a 20 m2 patch of Posidonia oceanica transplanted on dead matte twelve years after transplantation in the Gulf of Palermo, northwestern Sicily. Economic Theorizing, Discursive Analysis and Pluralism in the Classroom - Evidence from Postgraduate Teaching in a French University

Can students examine the discursive strategies employed by economists so that the former think critically about the underlying theoretical forces described by the latter? Are economic processes ontologically dependent on the narratives used by economists to account for real phenomena? In this article, we draw both on Wheat's mapping techniques to homogenise theoretical economic discourse and on Pilkington's attempt to combine economics with language for specific purposes.
