Group-based intervention on attention and executive functions in the school context

The objective of the study was to examine the effects of a group-based behavioural, cognitive and skills training intervention (Maltti) provided in schools for elementary school pupils with attention and executive function (EF) deficits. The treatment effects were identified by comparing an intervention group (n = 46) with a waitlist control group (n = 26). Specific effects of the intervention on behavioural deficits in attention and EF in a classroom setting as well as on academic skills were examined. Sisäisten kontrollien tarkastus on kiinteä osa riskilähtöistä tilintarkastusta. Sillä pyritään kontrolliriskin pienentämiseen, jolloin myös tilinpäätökseen jäävän olennaisen virheen tai puutteen riski ja tätä kautta tilintarkastuksen kokonaisriski saadaan alennettua tilintarkastuslaissa mainitun kohtuullisen varmuuden tavoitetasolle. Aims: Ageing in place has become a policy priority. Consequently, residential care has been reduced, and more older people with multiple care needs reside at home with the help of informal care and home care services. An increasing share of these people has memory disorders. We examined the extent to which memory problems, in addition to other individual characteristics, are associated with unmet care needs among community-dwelling older people.
