The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of endogenous circulating testosterone (T) on muscle androgen receptor (AR) responses to acute resistance exercise (RE). However, the individual and combined effects of whey protein and carbohydrates on long-term resistance training adaptations are poorly understood.
