Off-Adherence Keeping (OAK) observational study: intentional off-adherence immunomodulatory multiple sclerosis treatment

Aims: To evaluate how improved treatment adherence with a lower-frequency regimen/treatment of intramuscular (IM) IFN beta-1a impacts therapeutic effectiveness in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) patients switching from a higher-frequency injectable regimen/treatment. Patients & methods: Italian patients with relapsing-remitting MS and prior poor adherence to high-frequency injectable treatments (n = 181) were followed for 24 months after starting IM IFN beta-1a. In this work we describe an instrument based on the use of a factor analysis technique in order to measure the quality of education within a Postgraduate degree offered by a public Spanish university. We showed that the instrument has satisfactory psychometric properties (reliability and validity). Regarding the factorial solution, three main dimensions have been determined, namely: importance given to the subject; educational resources and knowledge of the subject (previous and posterior). Attēla kvalitātes ietekme uz acs struktūru izvērtēšanu foto-diagnostikā

Darba mērķis bija izpētīt 18 samazinātas kvalitātes spraugas lampas attēlu, kuros attēloti acu priekšējo daļu struktūras, ietekmi uz 5 profesionāļu atzinumiem. Attēli, kas sadalīti 3 6 attēlu komplektos trim samazināšanas filtriem, izplūdums (1-6), troksnis (7-12) un kontrasts (13-18), tika parādīti datora ekrānā un salīdzināti ar oriģinālajiem attēliem. Rezultāti tika saskaņoti ar īsto attēla diagnozi un novērtēti 3 punktu sistēmā, pareizs atradums: 1 un 0,5 (daļēji) punkti, nepareizs vai nav atrasts: 0 punkti.
