Evaluation of Student Teachers’ Perceived Quantitative Workload and Usefulness of an On-line Elementary Science Education Course Unit

We have designed a 1 ECTS on-line science pedagogy unit as a part of a 6 ECTS science education course for elementary school student teachers. To improve the unit, we asked 169 participants to estimate their use of time and the usefulness of the themes and contents in it. We analysed the responses in the framework of students’ perceived workload. The Basics of School Science was perceived as the most useful section, followed by Science Teaching and Learning Methods and Basics of Science and Scientific Knowledge in Schools, respectively. Based on a nationwide quantitative survey conducted on 2,000 households (including 1,000 demotorised households and 1,000 non-demotorised twin households), we propose to provide an overview of demotorisation in France. This survey by questionnaire was conducted during the winter of 2017-2018 with a panel of households representative of the French population (from the Metaskope panel of Kantar-TNS ex-TNS-Sofres). Combined with the ?Parc Auto? panel survey (Kantar-TNS for Ademe-CCFA-Ifsttar-DSR), this survey is an original source of data on the French demotorised households. Abstract Background Stroke is a major cause of disability and stroke incidence increases with age. Stroke frequently results in permanent limitations of mobility, and, consequently, the need for the help of others in activities of daily living. Cote interne IREDU :18083; Mis en place en mars 2010, le service civique propose à des jeunes âgés de 16 à 25 ans d'effectuer une mission d'intérêt général non renouvelable de six à douze mois au sein d'une structure à but non lucratif ou auprès d'une personne morale agréée contre une indemnisation d'environ 580 euros (pris en charge par l'Etat à 80 pour cent et par l'organisme d'accueil à 20 pour cent).Cette étude repose sur la réalisation d'une enquête quantitative par questionnaire auprès des volontaires ayant achevé leur mission de service civique en Bourgogne Franche-Comté entre 2010 et 2018.Les résultats de cette étude permettent d'apporter plusieurs éléments de réponse pouvant mener …
