User session level diverse reranking of search results

Most Web search diversity approaches can be categorized as Document Level Diversification (DocLD), Topic Level Diversification (TopicLD) or Term Level Diversification (TermLD). DocLD selects the relevant documents with minimal content overlap to each other. It does not take the coverage of query subtopics into account. TopicLD solves this by modeling query subtopics explicitly. However, the automatic mining of query subtopics is difficult. Lietotāja saskarnes risinājumi vizuālā vaicājumu rīkā

Mūsdienās arvien biežāk ir nepieciešams atlasīt informāciju, tajā skaitā arī tādu, kas glabājas strukturētā veidā – datu bāzēs. Tāpēc ir nepieciešams izmantot vaicājumvalodas, kas ļauj definēt atlasīšanas kritērijus, bet pārsvarā tādas valodas nav domātas iesācējiem. Ar šo problēmu cīnās tajā skaitā arī vizuālie vaicājumu rīki, kas nodrošina iespēju grafiski attēlot savas prasības vienkāršotā veidā, un pēc tam bez lietotāja palīdzības “pārtulko” attēlu par vaicājumu. Palielinoties saistītās informācijas apjomam, ir nepieciešams atrisināt informācijas meklēšanas jautājumu. SPARQL vaicājumvaloda, kas ir oficiāla vaicājumvaloda RDF datiem, ir pietiekami komplicēta, lai to varētu izmantot visi lietotāji, ieskaitot ne-IT speciālistus. Vizuālie vaicājumu uzdošanas rīki ļauj lietotājam veidot vaicājumu vizuālajā formā un atrisina šo problēmu, bet pieejamo rīku skaits nav liels, un to izteiksmes spēja būtiski atpaliek no pilnās tekstuālās vaicājumu valodas iespējām.
