In-depth structural analysis of lanthanoid coordination networks based on a flexible tripodal zwitterionic isonicotinate ligand

Crystallizing metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) has been studied using a tripodal pyridinecarboxylic acid derivative ligand and selected lanthanoid salts. The zwitterionic ligand, 1,1′,1′′-((2,4,6-trimethylbenzene-1,3,5-triyl)tris(methylene))tris(pyridin-1-ium-4-carboxylate) (TTTPC) introduced as a bromide salt, forms coordination networks in aqueous environments and under ambient conditions with neodymium bromide, trifluoromethanesulfonate (OTf) or acetate (OAc). Seven structures are elucidated in detail using single crystal X-ray crystallography. A Validation Study of Classroom Assessment Scoring System–Secondary in the Finnish School Context

This study examined the reliability and validity of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System–Secondary (CLASS-S) in Finnish classrooms. Trained observers coded classroom interactions based on video recordings of 46 Grade 6 classrooms (450 cycles). Concurrent associations were investigated with respect to teacher self-ratings (e.g., efficacy beliefs and teaching-related stress). Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the hypothesized three-factor structure of the original CLASS-S (Emotional Support, Organizational Support, and Instructional Support), with some modifications, provided a better fit for the data compared with one- and two-factor structures. This thesis examines the structure and argumentation of letters to the editor written by Finnish upper secondary school students. The research material includes 89 texts and the objective of the study is to determine the structure and argumentation of these texts. Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkastelen suomalaisten lukiolaisten (n=20) ja yliopisto-opiskelijoiden (n=20) sekä ruotsalaisten lukiolaisten (n=20) ruotsinkielisten kertomusten rakennetta. Vertaan, miten suomalaiset toisen kielen oppijat ja ruotsalaiset ensikielen oppijat rakentavat kertomuksensa. Tutkimusmateriaali, joka koostuu 60 lyhyestä kirjoittajien omiin kokemuksiin perustuvasta kertomuksesta, on osa aineistoa, jota on kerätty Jyväskylän yliopiston toisen kielen oppimista käsittelevässä Topling-hankkeessa vuodesta 2010 alkaen.
