Idea kotilon kuoressa : Alvar Aallon kampuskappelisuunnitelman muotoutuminen

Artikkelissa tarkastellaan kampuskappelisuunnitelmaa, jonka Jyväskylän kasvatusopillisen korkeakoulun ylioppilaskunta tilasi arkkitehti Alvar Aallolta (1898–1976) vuonna 1961. Kappeli oli tarkoitus rakentaa vuoden 1964 lopulla valmistuneen ylioppilastalon osaksi. Kyseessä on taidehistoriallinen tapaustutkimus, erityisesti eri prosessivaiheista muodostuvan suunnittelukokonaisuuden selvitys. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan Aallon toimiston laatimia neljänlaisia luonnoksia kiinnittäen huomiota kappelin sijaintiin, muotoon, ja sisätilaratkaisuihin. Creating futures images for sustainable cruise ships : insights on collaborative foresight for sustainability enhancement

The aim of the study was to explore futures images of collaborative sustainability enhancement within a cruise ship building network. Addressing collaborative sustainability at the organizational level rather than at the macro (regional or planetary) level, the paper explores socially constructed and shared futures images, which are less widely studied than individual-level images of the future. We advance an analytical model for constructing and evaluating collectively held futures images based on the structure and content of those images. 1800-luvun jälkipuoliskolla puun kysyntä kasvoi ja kilpailu kiristyi, joten sahojen hankinta-alueet ulotettiin niin kauas kuin se vesistöjä myöten oli mahdollista. Yleensä rajat tulivat vastaan viimeistään vedenjakajan luona, mutta joissain tapauksissa ongelma ratkaistiin tukinsiirtolaitoksen avulla. Abstract The aim of this article is to analyse how different policies and actors have structured the current migrant labour regime in the Finnish construction sector and to discuss the consequences for migrants. Our study shows that a strong industrial relations system such as in Finland is able to curb the posting of workers regime (the most disadvantageous for migrant workers). This report gives an overview of the Con3Post project1 research that analyses a new and understudied phenomenon of posting third country nationals (TCNs) in the European construction sector, with a special focus on the posting flow involving workers from Ukraine being posted to Finland and Estonia through Poland. The research highlights severe regulatory challenges related to the phenomenon. These include posted TCNs being exposed to multiple vulnerabilities that are even more extreme than intra-European Union (EU) posted workers are usually exposed to. Surrogate assisted interactive multiobjective optimization in energy system design of buildings

In this paper, we develop a novel evolutionary interactive method called interactive K-RVEA, which is suitable for computationally expensive problems. We use surrogate models to replace the original expensive objective functions to reduce the computation time. Typically, in interactive methods, a decision maker provides some preferences iteratively and the optimization algorithm narrows the search according to those preferences. However, working with surrogate model swill introduce some inaccuracy to the preferences, and therefore, it would be desirable that the decision maker can work with the solutions that are evaluated with the original objective functions.
