Phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors are the first-line therapy for erectile dysfunction (ED) after radical prostatectomy (RP). This single-centre open-label uncontrolled study evaluated the efficacy and safety of the new sildenafil orodispersible film (ODF) in ED treatment after RP. Sildenafil 100 mg ODF was administered twice a week for 3 months to patients under 75 years of age, with a Framingham cardiovascular risk score < 20% and a pre-operative International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF)-5 score ≥ 17, who had undergone open RP between 2016 and 2018. A German version of the Sexual Behaviour Questionnaire (SBQ-G) is a short self-rating instrument covering the four domains of sexual function using colloquial words. Frequency of sexual dysfunction was counted and chance-corrected retest reliability was calculated. Eleven women and 12 men participated. Reception of the SBQ-G was favourable and more females than males reported at least moderate sexual dysfunction. Sexual arousal and ability to enjoy sex showed the lowest retest stability. International audience; We consider wavelength-selective splitting of radiation using directional couplers (DCs) formed by dielectric-loaded surface-plasmon-polariton waveguides (DLSPPWs). The DCs were fabricated by depositing subwavelength-sized polymer ridges on a gold film using large-scale UV photolithography and characterized at telecommunications wavelengths with near-field microscopy. An experimental investigation of the shear behaviour of polyethylenes with different structures

Rheological properties in shear flow are presented for four different polyethylene samples: a high density, a linear low density and two low density polyethylenes manufactured using different techniques. Tests have been performed with the aid of capillary types of instrument equipped with capillaries of various lengths at three different temperatures. End correction factors have been determined and true flow curves obtained. Swelling ratios for both unannealed and annealed samples have been determined as well as the shear rate and shear stress at which irregularities begin.
