Maria.D.Garcia@uv.es Este trabajo presenta un estudio de aula sobre la enseñanza de verbos reflexivos como elementos lingüísticos para la expresión de rutinas diarias en español como lengua extranjera (ELE) desde un enfoque pragmático. Dicho enfoque aboga por la enseñanza y aprendizaje de lenguas orientado al desarrollo del ‘conocimiento pragmático’ de los aprendices de éstas, a saber, el conocimiento consciente de los recursos lingüísticos de una lengua, y las asunciones lingüísticas y socio-culturales que subyacen al uso de los mismos en diferentes contextos. Thiopentone concentrations in blood following injection of the induction solution (Thiopental, 2.5%) may be critical in the context of lethal complications arising during induction of anaesthesia and thereby the toxicological aspects of this drug can become an issue in forensic considerations. The study was designed to find out whether the dose of injected thiopentone may be calculated from blood levels measured in nine pregnant and ten non-pregnant patients. The doses injected ranged from 4-5 mg per kg body weight. The drug was administered as a single bolus dose to the patients undergoing Caesarean section. Decisive for urethral closure under stress is an increase in intraurethral pressure. This pressure increase is significantly affected by urethral tonus, passive pressure transmission and reflex pressure transmission. Approximately half of the urethral tonus is produced by the striated sphincter muscles (Rud et al. 1981; Tanagho 1979).

Aspekt impulsywności również okazuje się mało zbadany ze względu na różnorodność zastosowanych perspektyw badawczych. W związku z powyższym celem niniejszego artykułu było zbadanie różnic w zakresie impulsywności oraz reaktywnego i proaktywnego radzenia sobie wśród mężczyzn uzależnionych oraz bez uzależnienia. Envelopes of open sets and extending holomorphic functions on dual Banach spaces

We investigate certain envelopes of open sets in dual Banach spaces which are related to extending holomorphic functions. We give a variety of examples of absolutely convex sets showing that the extension is in many cases not possible. We also establish connections to the study of iterated weak* sequential closures of convex sets in the dual of separable spaces.
Reflexivity and nonweakly null maximizing sequences

We introduce and explore a new property related to reflexivity that plays an important role in the characterization of norm attaining operators. We also present an application to the theory of compact perturbations of linear operators and characterize norm attaining scalar-valued continuous 2 2 -homogeneous polynomials on ℓ 2 \ell _{2} .
Mechanisms and predictors of chronic facial pain in lateral medullary infarction

The purpose of this study was to identify clinical predictors and anatomical structures involved in patients with pain after dorsolateral medullary infarction. Eight out of 12 patients (67%) developed poststroke pain within 12 days to 24 months after infarction. The pain occurred in the ipsilateral face (6 patients) and/or the contralateral limbs and trunk (5 patients, 3 of whom also had facial pain). Ipsilateral facial pain was significantly correlated with lower medullary lesions, including those of the spinal trigeminal tract and/or nucleus, as documented by magnetic resonance imaging.
